Job Type: Regular

The Line Maintenance Lead is the PM systems owner for their line(s). He/she is responsible for eliminating maintenance and breakdown related losses. The Maintenance Lead is responsible for building capability in Operating Teams and Equipment Owners to deliver overall line results supporting the CBN (compelling business needs).

• Day shift 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday 40 hours/week
• Primarily day shift focused, but available to work different shifts when required. Must be able to work rotating shifts based on a 24/7 operation.

What’s involved in this role:

• Own PM systems for the Line, focusing on Defect Handling and Breakdown Elimination, and later Maintenance Planning and Scheduling DMS’s.
• Support development and lead portions of Line 90-Day loss-elimination plans.
• Drive breakthrough results in Planned and Unplanned Downtime, and own:
• R&M costs for line
• % Planned Maintenance and % PM’s complete.
• Breakdown reduction
• Coach and develop Shift Teams by serving as technical coach and resource.
• Actively participate in Line DDS meetings and execution of the daily plan.

What you need to join our team:

• Requires knowledge/experience working with plant computerized maintenance management systems.
• Passion for systemic solutions versus “fix it when it breaks”.
• Knowledge of excel considered an asset.
• Organized and good communication skills.
• A red seal/trade designation is required.
• Currently working within the maintenance department.
• This job classification falls under Article 7.7.4; the employee must remain in the job for a period of 12 months.
