Job summary

Atlantic Industries Ltd. in Ayr, ON, seeks a mechanically minded Maintenance Lead to oversee all site maintenance and run the shop with minimal supervision. You will report to the Plant Manager and ensure safe, efficient operation of plant equipment and processes.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, experience with heavy machinery, welding, and blueprint reading. If you thrive on hands-on leadership and take ownership of the maintenance domain, this is your moment to shine.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety-first mindset.
• Experience with heavy machinery, overhead cranes, forklifts, and rigging/slings.
• Welding, fabrication, and blueprint reading skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance for the complete operation on site.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Prioritize and manage maintenance tasks independently.
• Collaborate with Plant Manager to ensure safe and efficient production.
• Implement improvements and lead when needed.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (EST)

We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual to join our manufacturing team as our Maintenance Lead. You will be responsible for all maintenance for the complete operation. Duties are fulfilled as assigned by the Plant Manager safely, efficiently, and effectively. We are looking for a self-starter who likes to get their hands dirty.
