Arconic is currently seeking an Inventory/Reliability Tech to join our maintenance team based in Lethbridge, Alberta.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Reliability Technologist plays a vital role in maintaining equipment reliability, managing inventory systems, and leading preventative maintenance efforts. This position aims to minimize downtime, enhance efficiency, and ensure safe plant operations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage creation, updating, and tracking of purchase orders for maintenance resources.
  • Oversee spare parts inventory, ensuring accurate logging, organization, and compliance with the CMMS.
  • Maintain Lock, Tag, Verify safety program and ensure compliance with Arconic Engineering Standards.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy regarding stock levels, costs, and vendor details.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Task Instructions (STIs) for maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with maintenance supervisors and planners to optimize inventory levels.
  • Audit and improve preventative maintenance systems to meet operational and safety standards.
  • Support troubleshooting and other maintenance tasks as assigned.

  • Effective presentation skills.
  • High energy with strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong team-building abilities and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, knowledge of business process improvements, and training abilities.
  • Self-motivated, people-oriented, service-focused, and capable of working across all organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Journeyman Parts Technician.
  • Technologist diploma/degree with 2+ years of experience, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in manufacturing, especially in metal fabrication and maintenance.
Physical Work Environment/Conditions

This role involves working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, often requiring personal protective equipment due to potential hazards. This position is Non-Exempt.
