AGI Nobleford in Nobleford, AB, Canada, is seeking a Maintenance I to ensure building, production equipment and grounds are reliable and safe. You will schedule maintenance, support equipment setup, and uphold health, safety and quality standards on the factory floor.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, repair of CNC machines, welders, cranes, air compressors and forklifts, plus documenting work and coordinating with management and other departments for continuous improvement.

Competenze

• 1-3 years' progressive experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude with hand tools and equipment.
• Ability to read specifications, manuals and blueprints.

The Opportunity

This role is responsible for ensuring that the building, building systems, production equipment and exterior grounds are maintained at a high level of reliability and safe operating condition. The main areas of focus include meeting production requirements, station set up, health & safety and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all equipment is maintained on a regular schedule and that down time is minimum to null.
• Ensure the assembling processes and procedures are being followed and quality standards and timelines are being met.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program for facilities and machinery
• Maintenance and repair of production equipment, including but not limited to CNC machines, welders, paint line, overhead cranes, air compressors and forklifts
• Assemble and install machines then testing them to make sure they are working correctly
• Assist with the layout and placement of equipment and machinery in factory settings to ensure efficiency.
• Identify and repair problematic parts of a machine by troubleshooting, making temporary repairs, or installing new parts
• Coordination of environmental systems operations including heating, ventilation and air conditioning
• Oversee all yard maintenance and upkeep
• Timely and accurate completion of documentation for completed work, repairs and preventative maintenance
• Regular communication with Management and other departments to assist in continuous equipment improvement
• Follow AGI’s Code of Business Ethics and related compliance policies
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with industrial maintenance is considered a strong asset
• 1-3 years' progressive experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Mechanical aptitude in dealing with wrenches, hammers, forklifts, and other similar tools
• Working knowledge of mechanical technical skills to allow them to effectively read documents such as specifications, machine manuals, and blueprints
• Proficient in troubleshooting techniques to solve machine issues
• Excellent mathematical skills and strong attention to detail
