Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. in Calgary, AB is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure health, comfort and safety of Resident Members at McKinnon Court Apartments.

You will address requests, perform on-call maintenance, and support turnover suites with quality standards. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of maintenance service experience, with 3 years renovation experience a plus, and must be able to lift up to 90 kg and manage time effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years maintenance service experience.
• 3 years renovation experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of our Resident Members.
• Address Maintenance Requests within 72 hours.
• Perform on-call emergency maintenance.
• Vacant suite maintenance and touch ups per established quality standards.
• General common area and building maintenance.
• Coordinate inspections of turnover suites with Customer Care Team.
• Preventative Maintenance inspections and reporting.
• Ensure contractors complete their work per established quality standards.
• Assist with snow removal.
• Complete other tasks and assist other sites as required.

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of our Resident Members

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• 2 years maintenance service experience required
• 3 years renovation experience an asset

Technical Requirements:

• Working knowledge of English language both verbal and written
• Familiarity with technology is an asset

Non-Technical Requirements:

• Ensure to have all tools on the tool list (list provided during interview)
• Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
• Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment
• Ability to fix the problem correctly the first time
• Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service

• Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment
