Maintenance Generalist

We are seeking a Maintenance Generalist to join our Maintenance Team at The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Facility Manager. Responsibilities include minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, cleaning equipment (boilers, chillers, cooling towers), changing filters, housekeeping of mechanical and electrical rooms, transporting materials, and assisting trade staff.

Your role within the team:

1. Unplug sinks, toilets, floor drains, roof drains; fix leaking taps; clean grease traps.
2. Replace light bulbs and lenses.
3. Replace broken ceiling tiles; hang pictures, whiteboards, signs, and decorations.
4. Change filters in air handling units, exhaust fans, fan coils, compressed air systems, water systems, and water treatment systems.
5. Conduct water tests for boilers, condensate tanks, deaerators, and softeners following water treatment procedures.
