Job summary

L’Arche Homefires is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to oversee maintenance across residential properties and fleets, ensure compliance, and support asset management within a community setting.

The role requires coordinating with contractors, maintaining records, and contributing to safety and budget processes. A strong team player with flexibility for after-hours work is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience performing general property maintenance.
• Residential and commercial maintenance experience is an asset.
• Experience coordinating maintenance requests, contractors, or service providers.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and iPhone as related to the role.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor maintenance activities to comply with legislation, codes, standards, and policies.
• Oversee maintenance of fleet vehicles, inspections, servicing, and documentation.
• Maintain relationships with Core Members, community members, contractors, and vendors.
• Assist with asset management, records of buildings, vehicles, equipment, warranties, and service history.
• Monitor maintenance expenditures in collaboration with Finance.
