Job summary

IPEX is seeking a Maintenance Excellence Manager at our Edmonton, Alberta facility to drive the Maintenance Excellence program across sites. You will champion best practices, including CMMS, Predictive Maintenance, and reliability improvements, partnering with plant leaders to elevate safety and equipment reliability.

You will coach teams, lead improvement projects, and coordinate with external partners while ensuring sustained gains through site assessments and action plans.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Maintenance role (Planning/Scheduling, Leadership, Engineering)
• Demonstrated experience in Maintenance best practices (RCM, PdM, CMMS, etc)
• Training and instructional experience
• Proven experience in applying organizational change skills, with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Ability to travel up to 40% of the time

• Championing maintenance best practices at multiple locations through assessments, gap analysis and organizational change.
• Completing improvement projects driven by both enterprise initiatives as well as specific plant needs.
• Researching next level methods and/or technologies to promote continuous improvement for our people, tactics, standards and controls.
• Providing support in sourcing external partners for technical support, consulting, technology and training.
• Directly interacting at the plant level with key collaborators from leadership, management and front-line.
• Creation and execution of action plans to support improvement initiatives.
• Tracking and reporting on project status and quantified improvement measurements
• Conduct regular site assessments to ensure improvement initiatives are being sustained by the plant maintenance teams.
• Creation of AFE's to acquire support and funding for initiatives.
• Lead or support Job Hazard Assessments (JHA) and Technical Need Analysis (TNA) to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Train key partners in methods and tools associated to continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Summary

As the Maintenance Excellence Manager, you will drive the implementation and continuous improvement of IPEX's Maintenance Excellence program across multiple manufacturing sites. Working closely with plant leaders and maintenance teams, you will champion maintenance best practices, including CMMS, Predictive Maintenance (PdM), Reliability Excellence, and technical capability development.

Through coaching, collaboration, and change leadership, you will help build sustainable maintenance systems that improve safety, increase equipment reliability, and support operational excellence across the organization.

• Self-starter with strong relationship building and influencing skills
• Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
