Maintenance Engineer - PE (Richmond Hill)
Summary
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting and programming robot applications, conveyor systems, equipment, and process monitoring systems.
Essential Functions (Candidates must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
SAP Operations
- Enter preventive, general, and breakdown maintenance data into SAP
- Create and update preventive maintenance task lists to ensure reliability
- Create and update functional location and equipment numbers
- Review and report on equipment status, downtime, damage codes, causes, countermeasures, and repair activities
- Print, install, and manage barcode labels on machines
- Manage preventive maintenance processes using tablet PCs and train team members
General Operations
- Collaborate with QC for annual equipment inspections and tool measurements
- Evaluate equipment history and update records in SAP
- Maintain the equipment maintenance manual
- Prepare weekly work summary reports
- Assist maintenance management as needed
- Plan equipment preventive maintenance schedules, shutdowns, and repairs for MNAe Plant Line
- Coordinate equipment improvement schedules for MNAe Plant Line
- Monitor equipment downtime, MTTR, MTBF, 5S, and improvements for MNAe Plant Line
- Track weekly/monthly results and planning for MNAe Plant Line
- Manage equipment materials and spare parts accuracy for MNAe Plant Line
- Report results and improvement plans for MNAe Plant Line PM activities
- Support equipment repair parts management and updates for the MNAe Plant Line
- Assist with listing and addressing equipment inconsistencies with countermeasures
- Support and implement improvements to equipment for the MNAe Plant Line
- Assist with parts repairs
Project related to equipment
- Support new equipment installation in cooperation with engineering
- Inspect new equipment and develop training plans for team members

Basic Qualifications
(The following are required)
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- At least one year of experience in industrial maintenance
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems
Additional Experience
- Experience in automotive manufacturing
- Experience with SAP and PLC systems

Working Conditions
- Approximately 60% on the production floor and 40% in the office
- Extensive walking and standing on the production floor
- Occasional bending and stooping
