Overview

Job Description: Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Engineer I is responsible for achieving the highest level of reliability for plant equipment through committed support, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and strong ownership of the Maintenance Excellence process within the plant.

The Engineer will have a challenging variety of responsibilities as involvement in the Maintenance Excellence (ME) pillar and support the 5S/Daily Team Maintenance (DTM) pillar.

ME program involves preventive and predictive equipment maintenance for better asset reliability. The 5S process is utilized to organize and maintain the workplace environment to increase productivity and safety, reduce waste and eliminate non-value-added activities. DTM will ensure the proactive prevention of equipment breakdowns and off-quality and result in process continuous improvement, reliability, stability and sustainable results.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain, update weekly and monthly work schedules
  • Coordinate maintenance operations with production team
  • Responsible of preventive maintenance planning (internal and external)
  • Develop and manage predictive maintenance program
  • Ensure PMs work orders completion on time
  • Track and update KPIs
  • Develop equipment maintenance procedures
  • Being involved in equipment troubleshooting
  • Lead maintenance project for cost reduction
  • Participate actively to the plant Safety program
  • Communicate with maintenance team and part purchaser for successful planification
Requirements
  • Possess a BSc in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • Have a minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing experience working in and leading a Continuous Improvement Environment
  • Have experience in Flexible Packaging, specifically in maintenance
  • Are highly proficient in Microsoft Office and CMMS system
