In this role, your duties as a Maintenance Electrician will be to ensure the responsibility for safely performing the basic tasks required to ensure proper maintenance and repair of the International Coal Piers conveyor system to ensure uninterrupted offloading of International and Domestic coal vessels. Duties will encompass, however are not limited too - task associated with direct interactions with International and domestic vessels and their crews, interaction with other Savage team members, maintenance and operation of the electrical components of the coal handling system (large electric motors, PLC’s/Switch gear, etc.), posting and completing work orders within the company specific computer data base, and basic industrial mobile equipment electrical maintenance. Duties will also include Rail Center facility maintenance and assisting in Locomotive inspections at that site.
