About Us

D&G Landscaping is a commercial and institutional landscaping and heavy civil construction company based in Greely, Ontario. Our projects include Parliament (West Block & Centre Block), Lansdowne Park, Rideau Street, Elgin Street, multiple OLRT Stations to name just a few. We are proud to have worked on some of the largest landscape construction projects in our nation's capital. We are presently looking for hard-working individuals to join our growing team.

Role

As a maintenance crew member, you’ll take part in completing a diversity of tasks throughout the working season. There will also be opportunities to gain more specialized skills, such as assisting in water & hydro-seeding operations.

Hours of Operation

• 
  Monday to Friday from 7am to 5:30pm (Hours may vary)
• 
  Seasonal (April/May-December)

General tasks will include but are not limited to:

• 
  Spring and fall cleanup of gardens.
• 
  Maintaining flowerbeds: weeding, cultivating, edging, and deadheading
• 
  Pruning shrubs
• 
  Winterizing gardens
• 
  Using gardening and power tools (backpack blowers, hedge trimmers, etc.)

Requirements

• 
  Steel-toed safety shoes
• 
  Willingness to work in a variety of weather
• 
  Ability to lift 50lbs
• 
  Eligible to work in Canada
• 
  Be able to commute to/from the job sites as needed

Not required but considered an asset

• 
  Background in Horticulture
• 
  Valid G Class driver's license
