WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

This role involves coordinating maintenance technicians during your shift, ensuring all maintenance tasks in your area are completed, and communicating any issues to your lead and manager. You will ensure resources are properly allocated and escalate issues when necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning Preventive, Corrective, and Planned Maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate outside contractors for specific tasks.
  • Track breakdowns, perform root cause analysis, and identify repetitive issues.
  • Develop and support WCM activities such as Autonomous Maintenance, Lead FI teams, or other initiatives.
  • Interpret data, identify problems, and make informed decisions.
  • Communicate ideas clearly both verbally and in writing, working from instructions, manuals, and work orders.
  • Generate and analyze reports, charts, and KPIs.
  • Create presentations to communicate maintenance initiatives.
  • Develop short-term and long-term maintenance plans and oversee their execution.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and other facilities to upgrade equipment and reduce costs.
  • Assist in scheduling maintenance personnel, managing vacations, and outage plans.
  • Support tradespeople and improve workflows.
  • Recommend parts based on breakdowns and corrective needs.
  • Review OEM maintenance plans and supplement as needed.
  • Write permits and supervise work when required.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Engineering or Maintenance.
  • 1-2 years of experience in maintenance coordination.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CMMS, Outlook, TEAMS, and related apps.
  • Technically inclined with IT/Apps/Mobile technology skills.
  • Self-motivated with a hands-on learning approach.
  • Strong teamwork, attitude, and patience.
