Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Maintenance Cleaner to participate in a structured cleaning program across all store areas, ensuring a clean and safe shopping environment. The role involves coordinating with store staff, following Food Safety standards, and maintaining equipment and supplies.

The position starts at a minimum hourly rate of $18.05 and requires candidates to be 18 or older. Training and in-store certification support safe working practices.

Qualifications

• Age – 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
