Do you have experience in building maintenance and renovations? To ensure our Resident Members’ peace of mind, we are looking for a talented candidate to address all maintenance requests and emergencies. If you are passionate about fixing things, good with your hands, and mechanically adept, this role is for you!

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the health, comfort and safety of our Customers
  2. Ensure daily communication with all site Associates
  3. Address Customer Requests for Maintenance (CRFM’s) within 72 hours
  4. Vacant suite maintenance and touch ups as per established quality standards
  5. General common area and building maintenance
  6. Coordinate inspections of turnover suites with Customer Service Representatives
  7. Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment
  8. Preventative Maintenance inspections and reporting
  9. Ensure contractors arrive as per scheduled timelines and complete their work as per the conditions of contract
  10. Snow removal as required
  11. Touch-up painting as required
  12. Ensure proper and accurate inventory management
  13. Perform on call emergency maintenance according to schedule provided by Area Coordinator
  14. Complete all required administration for the position on a tablet
  15. Complete other tasks as assigned by the Leader
Experience And Educational Requirements
  1. 2 years Maintenance service experience preferred
  2. 3-5 Years Renovation Experience Preferred
Technical Requirements:
  1. Working knowledge of English language both verbal and written
  2. Familiarity with computer / tablets is an asset
Non-Technical Requirements
  1. Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
  2. Ability to fix the problem correctly the first time
  3. Dedicated to building better communities for all our Customers and surrounding communities
  4. Ability to take responsibility for all actions and decisions and to follow through until a resolution is obtained
  5. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  6. Strong planning and organizational skills coupled with ability to multi-task and prioritize (excellent time-management skills)
  7. Ability to work independently (self managed) and with other Associates in a team environment
  8. Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change and be flexible in nature
  9. Displays a high level of initiative and commitment to excellence
  10. Demonstrates a positive attitude, enthusiasm and assertiveness
  11. Ensure have all tool on the tool list prior to end of probationary period
  12. Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
  13. Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment
