Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking aProperty Maintenance Technician for our Canada-based hotel. The role involves preventative maintenance, basic repairs, and keeping the guest experience top-notch across electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

You will service the pool, perform routine renovations, and maintain exterior curb appeal to preserve our property's high standards. Candidates should be able to work varied shifts, stay calm under pressure, and be ready to contribute as a team player

Qualifications

• Previous work experience includes property maintenance, plumbing, or electrical.
• Able to work a variety of shifts including days, weekends and/or holidays.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition; team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete report work orders (ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl) to maintain hotel quality.
• Check electrical systems (air conditioning controls, TVs, lighting) and perform minor repairs or replacements.
• Assist in routine and major repairs of hotel equipment including plumbing, boilers, HVAC, and related fixtures.
• Service the hotel's pool: adjust chemicals, clean filters, and maintain logs.
• Maintain exterior curb appeal: snow removal, lawn care, painting, and gardening.

Here’s what you’ll be doing each day:

• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete report work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, etc., to maintain the hotel and keep the product quality standard.
• Assist in checking electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, television sets, lighting systems, and make minor repairs and/or replacement.
• Assist in checking and making routine repairs and assist on major repairs of all hotel equipment including small appliances, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, boilers, pool equipment, HVAC, hand and power tools and general plumbing systems and fixtures such as pipe lines, toilets and sinks, kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Service the hotel's pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters; completing maintenance request forms and record logs.
• Maintain the building exterior and "curb appeal" (e.g., snow removal, lawn care, painting, gardening).
