Overview

The starting salary for this role is $21.00 per hour.

What will you do in this job?
  • Contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the Banff Gondola while maintaining the highest standard of quality.
  • Perform daily maintenance checks as assigned.
  • Maintain the upkeep of all buildings, grounds and lift terminals including snow shoveling and operation of snow clearing equipment.
  • Complete basic repairs and assist Supervisors and Managers with major repairs.
  • Encourage and participate in safe work practices.
  • Assist on the lift and in the parking lot as required.
  • Frequent interaction with coworkers, management and guests.
  • Provide visitors a high-quality experience and ensure a high level of customer service is given to each guest.
  • Report to the Operations Manager and complete all projects and tasks as assigned.
What skills and experience do you need for this job?
  • Prior maintenance experience is an asset.
  • Previous trade experience is an asset (Basic Carpentry, plumbing or Mechanical).
  • Current Alberta Driver's License.
  • Self-starter who is able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to speak, read, write and understand English.
  • Proven ability to work within strict policy/procedures and guidelines.
  • Lift operations experience an asset.
  • Leadership qualities.
  • Ability to take direction under stressful conditions.
  • First Aid Training an asset.
  • Able to lift up to 20lbs (frequently) up to 100lbs (occasionally).
