Job summary

A prominent hotel in Ontario is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join their dedicated maintenance team. You will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's functionality and safety. Job description

Location: THE PIG - on the Beach

Salary: OTE £13.31 per hour, including tronc

Hours: 35 hours per week, over 5 days

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our dedicated maintenance team.

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will work as part of a small team to maintain the functionality, efficiency, health & safety of the hotel. Managing preventative maintenance and understanding fire safety are key aspects of the role.

You will need to be 'hands-on' with a ‘can-do’ attitude. Responsibilities include basic repairs, painting, decorating, and assisting the Maintenance Manager with renovations and projects.

Experience in a similar role is preferred, along with qualifications or exposure to PAT testing, electrics, plumbing, fire safety, carpentry, plant room management, and health & safety.
