Support a Safe and Comfortable Environment for Our Residents
We’re seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our growing team! This role is vital in ensuring the facility’s equipment and environment remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency with attendance are essential for success in this position. The ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple tasks, and remain composed under pressure are also key.
In this role, you will:
Perform routine maintenance functions throughout the facility as assigned.
Ensure the physical plant, equipment, and grounds are in safe and efficient working order.
Conduct basic repairs on equipment and tools to maintain functionality.
Communicate effectively with staff to report or respond to maintenance issues.
Assist in maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Support the Maintenance Supervisor with daily tasks and preventative maintenance efforts.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience working with HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, washers, dryers, and emergency generators.
Understands the principles of preventive maintenance and can apply them consistently.
Possesses strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Is detail-oriented and safety-conscious.
Can adapt to changing priorities and facility needs.
