Are you a Maintenance Coordinator who is looking for a stable, permanent opportunity with a respected and growing company? We want to hear from you! This is a fly-in fly-out position on a 14 days on / 14 days off rotation. Travel and accommodations are provided.

The Maintenance & Warehouse Planner ensure the effective planning, scheduling, and coordination of all maintenance activities (preventative, predictive, corrective, and backlog) by leveraging technical systems and collaborative engagement with site and operational personnel .This role supports maintenance execution through timely work preparation, manpower and materials coordination, and accurate data entry and reporting within the Sandvik Maintenance Planning System. Additionally, it contributes to the optimization of equipment performance and inventory accuracy while fostering strong relationships with internal teams and external customers.

What you will be doing

Generate accurate planning and scheduling of maintenance work (preventative, predictive and corrective etc.,) as well as backlog work

Create and monitor short term and long-term maintenance works schedule and discuss/liaise with operational and site personnel for schedule alignment

Updates and ensures adherence to PM Job Plans to OEM Maintenance Strategies

Generate KPI reports on mechanical availability, equipment history, parts consumption etc., as required

Acquire and record relevant data for both Sandvik and the customer

Coordinate Manpower and materials

Assign technicians work as approved by Supervision.

Adjust schedule and scope of work and distribute as required.

Order parts for all equipment-related jobs and on-site inventory

Prepare material and information packages for the team before the start of planned work.

Manage warranty claims and schedule associate work.

Generate weekly backorder/expedited reports for supervisors and Lead hands.

May be required to participate in weekly production meetings and prepare data.

Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in materials, and storing in appropriate locations.

Assist in cycle counting and physical inventory.

Build sound relationships with the maintenance team, internal and external customers to ensure smooth operations.

Expedited urgent orders to ensure customers receive when needed.

Other duties as assigned by manager.

What you will bring along

Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Project management or Logistics considered an asset

Inventory management experience considered an asset

Technical knowledge and understanding of heavy-duty mining equipment considered an asset

Strong computer systems literacy

Strong report writing skills

Superior standard of interpersonal skills, which will contribute to teamwork, is required

Ability to work as part of an integrated, broad team

An in depth understanding of customer business processes

Superior customer relations skills

Highly developed time management and organizational skills

High level of initiative, drive, and determination to achieve goals and targets set for customer satisfaction
