Position: Maintenance Service Manager

The Maintenance Service Manager oversees the maintenance of the building, systems, and surrounding property, ensuring compliance with legislation and company standards. The role involves providing high-quality, courteous services to maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Building Maintenance: Oversee daily maintenance and repairs, coordinate maintenance programs, perform routine preventative maintenance, manage contractor relationships, and ensure timely renovations for new occupancy.
  • Employee and Community Relations: Supervise maintenance staff, conduct training, manage scheduling and performance reviews, collaborate with housekeeping, and promote team problem-solving.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with policies, maintain building standards, respect privacy laws, and uphold courteous interactions with all stakeholders. Lead the community's health and safety initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Power Engineering Class 4 license and/or a diploma in building operations or business preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience in facility maintenance, preferably in senior housing.
