Qualifications

• 5-7 Jahre Erfahrung in der Wartung und Anlagenengineering, vorzugsweise in der Lebensmittel- oder Chemieindustrie.
• Fähigkeit zur Verwaltung von Budget und Ersatzteilinventar.

Responsibilities

• Leitung der präventiven und korrektiven Wartungsprogramme zur Sicherstellung der Maschinenverfügbarkeit.
• Durchführung von kontinuierlichen Verbesserungsinitiativen zur Steigerung der Produktivität und Qualität.

The Maintenance and Engineering Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of maintenance and engineering related to the physical plant, grounds, equipment, and machinery. This role also involves active participation as a member of the site’s Management Committee.

What’s Involved in This Role

• Manage preventative and corrective maintenance programs to ensure equipment availability for production needs, including manufacturing, packaging, storage, and shipping, meeting customer requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and profitability of systems, processes, and equipment.
• Lead, motivate, and mentor maintenance and engineering teams through proactive communication, feedback, and employee involvement.
• Serve as Project Manager for the successful implementation of capital projects.
• Ensure optimal management of replacement part inventory.
• Manage the building and maintenance budget, ensuring all purchases stay within budget.
• Act as backup for quality and food safety responsibilities.

What You Need to Join Our Team

• Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
• Five to seven years of progressive maintenance and plant engineering experience, preferably in the food or chemical industry.
