Job summary

A local retirement residence is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join their team in Oakville, Ontario. In this role, you will assist with the maintenance and repair programs for the building and grounds while ensuring that resident care and normal business functions are not disrupted. Candidates should have some training in plumbing, electrical work, painting, and cleaning, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications

• Some training/knowledge in plumbing, electrical work, painting, cleaning, and other minor repairs.
• Ability to self-regulate and work independently.
• Ability to co-operate with others.
