Job summary

Suncor Energy Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Advisor in Fort McMurray to support day-to-day maintenance operations and ensure repairs are completed with minimal downtime.

You will collaborate with shop teams, customers, and suppliers to coordinate service needs, source parts, and manage work orders from start to finish. The role emphasizes strong communication across stakeholders, with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Parts Technician certificate is required.
• Five years of related experience.
• Experience in parts, maintenance, or a service shop environment.
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills; ability to coordinate effectively across teams.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with maintenance or inventory systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service requests and provide customers with repair updates.
• Source and order parts; track deliveries, backorders, and returns.
• Liaison with our vendor management inventory supplier.
• Support work order preparation and maintain accurate records.
• Work with maintenance teams and suppliers to resolve delays and support repair priorities.
• Contribute to safe work practices, cost control, and process improvements.
