Job Description:Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and execute test cases for mainframe-based applications.
- Analyze system requirements and technical specifications to create detailed test plans.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues using testing tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure application quality.
- Execute jobs using JCL and validate results against DB2 databases.
- Work closely with QA leads to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
Required Skills:- Strong experience in Mainframe testing.
- Proficient in JCL (Job Control Language).
- Good knowledge of DB2 and ability to validate data using SQL.
- Hands-on experience with mainframe tools like TSO/ISPF, File-Aid, and Abend-AID.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in Agile or Waterfall software development methodologies.
- Knowledge of COBOL is a plus.
- Previous experience working in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) domain is desirable.
Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
