We are currently seeking a Mainframe Engineer/Developer (Onsite Full-time) to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia (CA-NS), Canada (CA).

We have Mainframe Engineer/Developer openings that represent an outstanding opportunity to further develop an individual’s career in technology by supporting our business partners to ensure projects are implemented with the highest quality. This Mainframe Engineer is part of a high-energy team, responsible for code research, development, testing, and working with environment groups to integrate and support changes from development to test to production environments.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant academics required
2. 5+ years of experience in mainframe coding and debugging
3. 5+ years experience with CICS, COBOL, DB2, VSAM, MQ, and JCL.
4. 5+ years experience with CICS System knowledge would be valuable.
5. 5+ years experience with CICS Dynamic Transaction Routing process.
6. Should be familiar with DB2 tools, File-Aid, scheduler, and debugger tools.
7. Good communication skills and ability to interact with partners.
8. General knowledge in core Java and Front-end Technologies (Angular) is a plus.
9. Endeavor Software Manager migration tool/process
10. SFTP/AWXAY Secure File transfer knowledge
11. Ability to work independently and within a team structure
