We are currently seeking a Mainframe Developer/Engineer to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia (CA-NS), Canada (CA).

Day to Day/Job Function

This Mainframe Engineer is part of a high energetic team, responsible for code research, development, testing, and working with environment groups to integrate and support changes from development to test to production environments.

Required Skillset

1. 3+ years of experience in Mainframe coding and debugging
2. 3+ years of experience using CICS, COBOL, DB2, VSAM, MQ, and JCL
3. 3+ years experience in CICS System knowledge
4. Good understanding of CICS Dynamic Transaction Routing process
5. Familiarity with DB2 tools, File-Aid, scheduler, and debugger tools
6. General knowledge in core Java and Front-end Technologies (Angular) is a plus
7. Endeavor Software Manager migration tool/process
8. SFTP/AWXAY Secure File transfer knowledge
9. Good communication and ability to interact with Partners
10. Ability to work independently and within a team structure

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant academics required
