Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer to join our team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mainframe technologies, job scheduling tools, and source control systems, with a proven ability to work in Agile environments. This role requires hands‑on development, maintenance, and support of enterprise applications while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using COBOL, JCL, IMS DB, DB2, VSAM, and CICS.
• Manage and monitor batch processes with CA-7 and Control‑M.
• Utilize source control tools such as Endevor, Changeman, and GIT for version management.
• Work with mainframe utilities including z/OS Connect, IDz, ZDT, ADDI, PD Tool, and IMS Explorer for Development.
• Collaborate using ITSM tools (Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow) to track and resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
