Career Opportunity

Role Title Mail Services Associate Purpose of role This position is responsible for a variety of mail-related administrative functions to support the Foresters operations, not limited to, but including: Shipping/Receiving, inbound & outbound mail processing, returned mail as well as other tasks. Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Scan and capture all tracking details for outbound courier shipments.
  • Support shipping and receiving function as required by handling incoming shipments, distributing mail to various internal customers, process all US and Canadian outgoing mail to be sent via Canada Post, USPS, ICS and FedEx.
  • Handle sorting and distribution of incoming correspondence that is printed by a third party vendor and prepare outgoing mail using inserter machine
  • Prepare and process all shipments for US and Canadian certificate packages
  • Investigate and re-send returned US and Canadian mail as required.
  • Prepare mailing labels for agent correspondence
  • Support our internal and external business partners
  • Maintenance of in-house inventory
  • Proactively identify process improvement opportunites

Key Qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail ensuring quality standards are met at all times
  • Ability to manage daily workflow to meet tight deadlines
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision and take ownership
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and ever changing environment
  • Receptive to feedback , ask s questions to obtain clarification
  • Strong oral & written communication skills and customer service skills to internal & external clients.
  • Knowledge and skill in the application of computer software programs and accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment or as an individual as required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office application i.e. Excel, Outlook.
  • Hours of operation are from 8am to 8pm, including Saturdays and Canadian Statutory holidays as required.
