Job summary

Canada Post is hiring temporary, on-call delivery agents in Richmond, BC. You will sort and prepare deliveries in the depot, then drive a Canada Post vehicle and deliver mail and parcels to customers on your route. The role is outdoors, year-round, with on-call shifts and training provided.

Ideal candidates enjoy outdoor work, serving Canadians, and working for a national company. Language of instruction is English (possibly bilingual in French).

Qualifications

• A valid Class 5 (BC) or other Province/Territory driver7;s license with a safe driving record for at least 3 years
• The physical ability to lift up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) regularly
• The ability to work in all types of weather
• The availability to be on-call
• The ability to read, write and speak English and/or French

Responsibilities

• Start your day in the depot, sorting and preparing the day7;s deliveries
• Load and drive a Canada Post postal vehicle
• Deliver mail and packages by foot or by vehicle to customers on your route
• Return to the depot to unload the day7;s incoming mail and packages for later delivery

• The ability to read, write and speak English and/or French
