Hawkesbury and District General Hospital (HGH) Main Campus in Hawkesbury, Ontario, welcomes an MRI Technologist to join our team on a temporary part-time basis (0.8 FTE) through June 2027. The role requires membership in CMRITO for MRI and fluency in English and French.

You will perform MRI imaging and patient care, working independently within HGH policies, procedures and applicable regulations while providing excellent service and safety.

Description

The MRI Technologist provides all aspects of patient care and MRI imaging. This position works independently and professionally under the scope and standards of the MRI designation under the governing body of CMRITO. These responsibilities shall be carried out in accordance with HGH’s mission, vision and leadership philosophy, policies and procedures, collective agreements and applicable legislation and regulations.

HOURS OF WORK:

TEMPORARY PART-TIME 0.8 FTE until June 2027 approximately

• Rotation: day, evening, night, weekends, statutory holidays and on-call shifts.

What we are looking for

• Membership of the C.M.R.I.T.O. (College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario) in the designation of MRI
• Possess a working knowledge of both English and French
• Demonstrated critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills to plan and organize appropriately, anticipate, prevent, and resolve problems.
