About Island Gold District: Alamos Gold’s Island Gold District will become one of the largest and lowest-cost gold mines in Canada. With the two mines within the district, Island Gold and Magino employ over 900 team members who work in the underground and open pit operations and are located in northern Ontario, just east of the town of Dubreuilville, 83 kilometres northeast of Wawa. Through ongoing exploration success, Island Gold District’s Mineral Reserves and Resources have continued to grow in size and quality. This position is a 7 days on 7 days off rotation switching between days and nights each run. Travel allowance is provided and is dependent on your distance from the mine site. Bunkhouse and meal accommodations are also provided to the successful candidate if the candidate is not local. Medical and health benefits are provided.
