Main Responsibilities

• Perform internal and external cylindrical honing of parts
• Manual honing and machine-assisted machining
• Monitor parts continuously and ensure traceability
• Assemble and inspect parts for quality, report anomalies to team leader
• Measure and clean parts as needed
• Participate in training when required
• Use measuring tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, vernier calipers, etc.
• Follow health and safety protocols
• Perform other related tasks

Desired Profile

• Technical diploma (DEP) in machining
• Experience with measurement instruments like micrometers, dial gauges, bore gauges, gages, height masters, and thickness gauges (an asset)
• Experience in honing (honing process)
• Strong problem-solving skills for technical issues
• Good manual dexterity
• Ability to react quickly and work independently
• Physical requirements for the position
• English proficiency required for communication with international clients, suppliers, auditors, and subsidiaries
