Job summary

MTU Aero Engines AG in Delta, BC, is seeking a skilled Machinist to repair gas turbine engine components and tooling. The role involves manual machining, CNC milling and grinding, and precision inspection to ensure engine readiness.

You will follow shop leadership, interpret drawings, maintain equipment, and contribute to process improvements. A Red Seal and apprenticeship or equivalent experience are required; experience with aircraft components is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Machinist Red Seal.
• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or a minimum of 4 years equivalent experience.
• Ability to interpret drawings and documentation.
• Ability to use machine shop equipment.
• Experience with manual machining is required.
• CNC milling and grinding experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Machine grinding, milling, turning, and hand polishing.
• CNC operation and programming as required.
• General inspection and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain machines and follow shop leadership and procedures.
