Location: Barrie

Overview

Are you a precision powerhouse with a passion for metal mastery? We're seeking a skilled Machinist experienced in Vertical Boring Mill and Turning operations. If you excel in challenging projects and are comfortable operating heavy-duty machinery, we want you on our team!

Wages & Benefits

• Wages: $31 - $42.25/hour plus overtime ($3.00/hour), attendance bonus, and afternoon shift premium ($1.75)
• Shift work required: 6 weeks days, 2 weeks afternoons
• Benefits: Full benefits, pension, drug card

Responsibilities

1. Operate Vertical Boring Mills with high precision
2. Perform complex Turning operations on large components
3. Read blueprints and maintain tight tolerances
4. Manage projects from start to finish

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Vertical Boring Mills and Turning machines
• Minimum of 7 years' experience on Vertical or Horizontal Boring Mills
• Ability to interpret complex mechanical drawings
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship
