GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Setup various types of profile tools and/or saws that require re-conditioning and efficiently provide the re-conditioning services to meet OEM print. Must be dependable, self-directed, focused, and willing to be part of a team that is driven to provide the best customer service in the industry. Intermediate to advanced blueprint reading is required. A good tooling and machining background is essential.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Ability to setup and operate any CNC or EDM machine safely and productively.
2. Ability to perform first piece and in-process inspections.
3. Ability to setup and run manual mills and lathe machines.
4. Ability to load and unload parts into machines.
5. Ability to work independently.
6. Ability to keep area organized and clean.
7. Ability to resolve issues with minimal supervision.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Seeking machinist with 3-5 years of experience; Machinist diploma preferred.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
