Altium Packaging is seeking a skilled Machine Technician II to operate blow-mold, grinders, trimmer, and conveyor systems on the production line. You will diagnose process issues and perform minor maintenance to keep the line running smoothly.

Role requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices, safety protocols, and the ability to stand for long periods in a manufacturing environment. Prior Altium training is preferred.

• Basic math and numerical reasoning are required.
• Proficient with standard computer applications and systems.

Le ou la Technicien(ne) de machine II est responsable de l'opération des équipements de production, notamment les machines de soufflage, les broyeurs, les appareils de découpe (trimmers) et les systèmes de convoyage. As a fully competent Machine Technician II, the Machine Technician II will operate blow-mold, grinders, trimmer machines and conveyor systems. Role is responsible for troubleshooting process problems and performing minor maintenance to ensure continued operation of the production line. Machine Technician II is also responsible for following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.

Experience:

• Intermediate mathematical skills are required.
• Intermediate computer experience.
• Three plus years’ equivalent machine operator experience.

Education:

• Prefer High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

Training:

• Completion of Altium Machine Technician Level II training.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a production environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
