Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Machine Operator for SNB equipment (Shearing, Notching, Bending) to produce precision sheet‑metal components for heating and cooling systems.

You will ensure parts meet print specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements, with duties including measuring, marking, operating multiple metalworking machines, and maintaining consumption records.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of material gauges.
• Ability to read a tape measure, diagrams, and blueprints.
• General understanding of engineering drawings, schematics, cut lists and sheet metal principles.
• Previous experience in manufacturing environment is an asset.
• Must have the mechanical aptitude required to learn and operate all aspects of machinery.
• Must have basic computer and math skills with ability read ruler.
• Must be able to read and understand written instructions.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have mechanical aptitude.
• Must be reliable and dependable.
• Lifting of materials or components up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• May be exposed to noisy environment; ear protection may be required.
• May have to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.

• Shear, notch, cut, bend, punch different types of metal.
• Operate metalworking machines such as Accushear, Variable Angle Notching Machine, Schroder Panel Bender, and Prima Power Bending.

• Measure and mark sheet metal according to the drawings;
• Shear, notch, cut, bend, punch different types of metal;
• Operate metalworking machines such as Accushear, Variable Angle Notching Machine, Schroder Panel Bender, and Prima Power Bending; and
• Maintain records of consumption documents.

Required Education & Qualifications

• Knowledge and understanding of material gauges.
