Job description

We’re hiring production workers and machine operators for roles supporting manufacturing processes from start to finish. Tasks may include operating machinery, assembling parts, or conducting quality checks.

Job Type : Full-time (weekly schedule)

Location : Hamilton, ON

Pay Rate : $20.80 per hour

Hours :

Day shift - 8am to 4 : 30pm

Afternoon shift - 3 : 30pm to 12am

What You'll Do :

  • Operate production equipment and machinery
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Monitor status of inventory and maintain clean work environment
  • Perform product quality inspections at workstation
  • Complete assembly and sub-assembly of parts
  • Track and record part, material, and product numbers
  • Lifting and moving of product and feeding and removing product from machine
  • General labour and maintenance cleaning tasks as required
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Follow production schedule
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks
  • Keep work station safe, clean and organized
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Minimum 1 year of experience operating production machinery
  • Experience using various tools, forklifts and / or overhead crane is an asset
  • Valid Forklift License is preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work any shift and weekends as needed
  • Excellent time management, trouble shooting and multi-tasking skills
  • Must have a reasonable level of the English language
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position
