Role: Machine Operator - Saw

Location: Saskatoon

Work Schedule: Day Shift, Monday to Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm

Responsibilities of a Machine Operator
  • Operate machines to cut and/or bend various materials used in production.
  • Use materials efficiently to minimize waste, set up, and adjust machines and equipment.
  • Perform basic maintenance on equipment.
  • Assist in other fabrication stages as workflow demands.
  • Sand and deburr pieces as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed.
  • Inspect materials and equipment for defects or malfunctions.
  • Ensure all parts meet quality specifications.
  • Use hand tools and power tools proficiently.
  • Read tape measures to 1/32" tolerance.
  • Understand and apply ISO quality standards.
  • Follow safe work practices diligently.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Reach forward and overhead at or beyond full arm's length for extended periods.
