Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Machine Operator 2P for the 1st shift at our Cambridge, Ontario site. You will set up and operate brake presses, CNC machines, and finishing equipment, perform powder coat painting, inspect quality, and document checks in SAP/FTPC.

The role requires 1 year related experience or equivalent, High School/GED, ability to lift 35 lbs, and a safety-focused mindset. Base salary CAD 43,760–65,640 with 4% target bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow CSPs and DWIs carefully.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a range of manufacturing and finishing equipment.
• Perform powder coat painting, oven setup, surface prep, and quality finishing.
• Troubleshoot equipment, wash lines, and related machinery to maintain performance.
• Conduct quality inspections, documentation, and reporting (Check-Do-Check, SAP, FTPC).
• Support material handling and maintain production materials and supplies.
• Follow safety, 5S, Lean, and continuous improvement practices.
• Collaborate with teammates and provide training as needed.
