## Machine Operator IApply: Red Deer, Canada: Full time: Posted 2 Days Ago: R1375We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machining equipment in a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be able to read engineering drawings, use precision measuring instruments, perform basic machine setup and maintenance, and follow quality control and ISO standards. This role requires accurate documentation, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous production performance.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES* Perform basic machine set-up, including checks for Revision of Program, correct material, and quantity required. Set initiation position for machine home and tooling offsets.* Follow machine operation procedures according to written drawings, prints, or verbal orders.* Have a good understanding of CNC tooling and their applications.* Interpret Engineering drawings with a basic understanding of print reading.* Read and interpret micrometers, calipers and thread gauges properly.* Follow shop safety standards and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.* Perform daily machine maintenance, including checking machine fluid levels, lifting devices for wear and tear, cleaning chips and debris from area and notify supervisor of potential issues on tooling requirements.* Follow company Quality Control standards.
