Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Cambridge, Ontario, is seeking a Machine Operator Level 3P for the 2nd shift to join our on-site manufacturing team. You will set up and operate sheet metal fabrication equipment, read blueprints, and ensure quality from start to finish.

You will also manage material flow with cranes and automated systems, perform SAP/FactoryTalk documentation, and participate in LEAN/Six Sigma initiatives as part of continuous improvement and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Level 3: 2 years related experience, High School Education/GED
• Prerequisite: perform the responsibilities of Machine Operator Level 1P and 2P.
• Must be able to lift 35lbs
• Meets safety, attendance and conduct policies
• Walk/stand for long periods
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude and computer skills
• Flex into other positions/equipment as needed

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate sheet metal fabrication equipment including Prima Power machines, brake presses, CNC shears, punch presses, copper benders, and deburring equipment.
• Interpret blueprints and work orders to manufacture, form, finish and inspect sheet metal components to quality standards.
• Maintain material flow by operating cranes, hoists, lift trucks and automated handling systems; manage raw materials and scrap.
• Perform quality inspections, troubleshoot production issues, complete documentation, and report activities through SAP and FactoryTalk.
• Support continuous improvement, safety and team development by participating in LEAN/Six Sigma activities and training.

Job Description

Schedule:

This is a 2nd shift position. You will report to the production supervisor. You will be full time working on-site in Cambridge, Ontario.

For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from 51,840.00 - 77,760.00 CAD Annual with an annual target bonus of 4% of base salary. This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
