Job summary

Sioux Lookout Municipality is seeking a motivated candidate for a full-time road maintenance role. You will operate municipal equipment year-round to keep roads, sidewalks, and drainage in good condition, including snow and ice control, plowing, and sanding.

The position requires a valid DZ license, experience with loaders, graders, and plows, and strong safety practices. You will also assist with landfill, utility, and cemetery tasks and participate in on-call emergencies year-round.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, graders, and plows.
• Knowledge of road repair, snow removal, and general maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Operating municipal equipment year-round for road, sidewalk, and drainage maintenance.
