Job Title: Machine Operator

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $18.75 per hour, depending on shift

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Machine Operator to assist our client, a Paper Manufacturer located in Vernon, CA. The role involves daily production, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs of machinery.

Position: Machine Operator - General Duties
  1. Perform routine, emergency, and preventative maintenance on machines.
  2. Interpret manufacturer's technical manuals for maintenance and repairs.
  3. Troubleshoot machine problems, detect imperfections, safety issues, and malfunctions.
  4. Diagnose and repair mast and attachment components.
  5. Work knowledge of paper, box, or tissue manufacturing machines.
  6. Replace defective parts from stock or order replacements for major repairs.
  7. Conduct safety inspections of machines before daily operation.
  8. Clean equipment and work areas as required.
  9. Ensure work area and methods meet safety standards.
  10. Maintain an organized and neat work environment.
  11. Complete service documents and logs for preventative maintenance.
  12. Learn new technical information and techniques to stay current with technology.
Experience & Requirements
  1. Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of industrial electricity.
  2. Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screen.
  3. Ability to work safely and follow company rules and procedures.
  4. Full-time availability, open to overtime and weekend work.
  5. Ability to pass E-Verify and background checks.
  6. Shifts available: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.
  7. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
