Base pay range

CA$18.00/hr - CA$21.00/hr

Responsibilities Including But Not Limited To

• Responsible for the safe operation of grinding equipment and for the accurate milling of ingredients to deliver a product that meets customer expectations.
• Ensure quality and safety standards are followed at all times.
• Ensure the ingredient LOT number is visible on the batch recipe.
• Follow allergen control procedures.
• Fill hopper with raw materials according to specifications.
• Visually inspect materials to ensure no foreign materials or abnormalities exist.
• Start the machine according to instructions.
• Label product correctly.
• Validate the proper cleaning of the milling machine and equipment.
• Follow GMPs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience And Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in the food industry are required.
• Ability to use a calculator for basic math calculations for precision measurements.
• Ability to work with others and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a machine operator required.
• Ability to follow GMPs and other food safety and quality requirements.
