Job description

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the inspection of machine centre equipment, processes, and materials. You will read, set up, and follow production paperwork to produce quality cable. Additionally, you will be expected to propose solutions if a process does not work and provide justification for your solutions. Continuous process improvement is also a key part of the role. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment and updating production instructions are essential. You will be required to perform data entry for the ERP system to record inventory and production completion. Adherence to corporate rules, safety rules, company policies, and processes is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect machine centre equipment, processes, and materials.

The facility is newly renovated, providing a clean and organized work area. The work schedule follows a day / afternoon rotation from Monday to Friday, 6 : 00 am to 2 : 30 pm and 2 : 30 pm to 11 : 00 pm. The hourly wage is competitive, with opportunities for regular performance-based increases.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kitchener, Ontario.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00 / hr.
