Job summary

Mastronardi Produce in Kingsville, Ontario operates a 150,000 sq. ft. refrigerated distribution center that runs 24/7.

We are seeking a Full Time Machine Operator to safely run machines at high efficiency, track production and scrap, and maintain quality. Shift is Monday through Saturday, 2:30pm to 10:30pm. Responsibilities include reporting issues, monitoring machine performance, following safety procedures, and achieving daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in production environment preferred.
• Must have manual dexterity and basic mechanical ability.
• Proficiency in English language with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and take ownership of job.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs. consistently throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Report to the shift supervisor about any issues on their machine, product or department.
• Monitoring how the machine is running and fixing any minor problems.
• Understanding and following all safety precautions and startup/shutdown procedures.
• Track all pertinent information: initial scrap, product quality, cases produced.
• Complete start up and shutdown checklist daily.
• Operate the machine in a way that eliminates down time and boosts efficiency.
• Maintaining a clean workspace.
• Understanding and following pertinent SQF regulations.
• Ability to run the machine in accordance to customer specs.
• Achieve daily production goals set by area supervisor.
• Knowledge of customer specifications.

Our Kingsville Distribution Center, a 150,000 sq. ft. refrigerated facility operating 24/7, is currently seeking a Full Time Machine Operatorto join our team. The essential function of this position issafely operating the machines at the highest possible efficiency whiletracking production and scrap.

Shift:

Monday through Saturday 2:30pm to 10:30pm

Wage:

$18.15/hr

Full time permanent

• Visual and audio sensory are needed regularly.

Working Conditions:

• Environment includes an expansive refrigerated warehouse, where the temperature averages 48-53 degrees Fahrenheit. The background noise approaches 70 dcbs.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. consistently throughout the day.
