Job description

Join to apply for the Machine Operator role at M + J Woodcrafts Ltd.

We are hiring for a Machine Operator/Sander who will be cross-trained on a variety of machines and also trained on sanding components for our paint department.

Duties

1. Cut orders on the panel saw as per the pre-set program.
2. Operate CNC routers, including offloading and re-loading of parts.
3. Operate press machine, including loading and unloading of pieces.
4. Receive pieces from our buffing machine.
5. Recount orders to assure piece counts are correct before sending them to the next station.
6. Maintain a clean working environment.
7. Other duties as required.

Skills And Qualifications

1. Minimum of 2 years experience in operating machines/equipment.
2. On-time and reliable.
3. Can lift 40 - 70 pounds and stand, walk, bend, etc. full day.
4. Self-motivated and can work without direct supervision.

Shifts

1. The shift is Monday to Friday from 2:30 pm to 12:00 am, with every second Friday off.
2. Overtime may be required.
3. Clean safe environment.
4. Competitive wages.
