Sulzer is seeking a Machine Operator for our Burnaby manufacturing facility. You will operate and monitor machinery to ensure efficient production and product quality while following safety protocols.

This role supports established procedures under supervision and contributes to a safe, clean work environment. The position emphasizes basic machining skills, attention to detail, and teamwork, with opportunities to learn production tooling and improve processes.

About the role

Job Summary
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring machinery used in the manufacturing process. This role ensures that machines run efficiently, products meet quality standards, and safety protocols are followed.
This job profile is intended for support staff that follows established procedures and works under close supervision. Smaller/easier decisions are made autonomously.
This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Small, Medium, Large, Division / Extra Large organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery according to instructions.

Skills & Qualifications

May require basic vocational training (or equivalent work experience) and up to 2 years of relevant experience to carry out the role.
